Today in church almost everyone in Juniors wore red or green! Well, mine wasn't really green, but turquoise is the closest I have. Even those who weren't informed mostly either wore white, black, yellow or orange. Even the reds had some pinks and maroons, while the greens had lime and aqua. So we were a jolly bright bunch. During Juniors we were given this poll to see which time slot was preferred for Juniors, since everything's gonna change next year. It's so annoying, because I don't like change. I voted for keeping it on Sunday, mainly because I don't want to have to travel there twice a week. Plus, a lot of stuff goes on on Saturdays as well.
Then I had to go up to the pulpit to talk a bit about the camp, and I stupidly forgot to thank half the stuff I had meant to, including God for the good weather and keeping everyone safe, Delia for being our Camp Advisor, and the worship exco for coming on tuesday for extended worship!
Well, as the title says, I had my family Christmas dinner tonight, including my sister, brother-in-law and cousin. There was spaghetti carbonara, smoked chicken, turkey, salad, sausage, bread, apple stroodle, ice-cream...
I've also been attempting my sister's Rubix cube; she's been trying to teach me.
Right now I really wish I didn' have to go for carolling for either day. Because the one on the 24th means I can't go for the random unofficial Juniors Christmas Party at Michelle's house.
And then the one on the 25th totally clashes with Christmas Service.
I feel utterly stupid for signing up for the 25th Dec carolling and assuming that like last year, Christmas service would be on Sunday. Now I can't go for Christmas service! It's a crime in itself. *cries*
Sigh,
The Xuan
