Darn, I'm home. Labels: ksa
I'm really sad that the KSA adventure is over, and that I'm never going back there again. It was one of the best experiences of my life!
I wish I'd go to sleep tonight, and wake up tomorrow to Downtown or some oldie song they always play, and then hear the loud Korean voice at 6.40 telling everyone they have 40 minutes to get out of the dorm.
Then Teresa and I will go for breakfast, shivering from the linkway between the girls' and guys' dorm, and from guys' dorm to cafeteria. After joining Miss Lim at a table, we'll look at the breakfast, grab chocolate milk, comment on how Theophila, Yanyao and Wern Chia must still be sleeping, etc.
Then more and more KSA students will start streaming in, dumping their bags/laptops on the farthest table and join the increasingly long queue. Shiqi will come and join us, probably only taking the milk.
Teresa and I will start commenting on the few recognizable students, whether it's someone's buddy, or the guy who looks like a girl, or that one with the broken leg, etc. When we're done, we'll go up to the seminar room to find Jolene, Cassandra or Melissa already at the computers with cup noodles half open.
Then just before the programme starts, William and the rest who skipped breakfast will come in looking disheveled or sleepy. Then we'll go on auditing classes, going for special lectures, following our buddies to their classes; maybe Taekwondo.
And in between, we'll be using the internet, transferring photos, teasing Miss Lim, doing chem homework, playing minesweeper...
Then maybe some buddies will come in and stop us from eating dinner, saying that they'll take us out for dinner and shopping. Then the whole big group of us plus Miss Lim will go out in 4 or so taxis, have dinner, walk around aimlessly, visit Etude house again, take neoprints, and return back at 10.30pm.
Then someone will order some chicken from the shop near the school, and half of us will go and stuff our faces in the empty cafeteria, while I start dying from the spiciness, and everyone else is fine.
Then we'll take turns bathing, until Wern Chia is the last one bathing at 12.30am or so. Then I'll go to Theophila's and Yanyao's room to borrow the hairdryer, and then return to the higher bed to sleep while Teresa is doing her work. Maybe we'll talk more on the events we had or people we were with today.
Then sleep will overcome me, until I wake up and continue this routine. Except that it'll be different. Maybe we'll go out on a trip and take photos of lovely scenery. Maybe we'll get to watch another Korean movie. Maybe we'll go do more research at ridiculous hours.
Maybe Wern Chia will borrow Miss Lim's phone again. Maybe William will go play soccer with the Russians. Maybe Cass's hair will stick out with static. Maybe Theophila and Teresa will start being lame and laughing insanely in the toilet. Maybe Yanyao will complain to her mother in rapid Chinese over msn. Maybe Mel will play dota, while Shiqi goes LOL over and over again. Maybe Jolene will show interesting pictures from Facebook.
Maybe at lunch we'll sit with our buddies, and laugh when Cheol Huan starts teasing Ji Eun and Ji Soo for being a secret couple, while the two of them violently protest. Maybe Dong Kyeong will explain more about last night's episode of Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi.
Maybe I'll go to see the orchestra practice, and grumble at how unfair it is that Dae Sik is that talented. Maybe we'll see William and Wern Chia playing that crazy billiards with their buddies, and losing miserably. Maybe we'll go karaoke where Jae Hyun and Jeong Huan scream their lungs out.
Maybe we'll go out with our old buddies like Yosub and Mi Kyeong. Maybe Jae Hyun will order another set of chicken at night, and In Hyi will come in halfway and take some.
Yeah right. It's never coming back.
